Ricky also serves as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center and as Internal Medicine Hospitalist at Duke Regional Hospital. He received his medical degree from ECU Brody School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at UNC Hospitals.

Thomas Bohrmann

Co-founder and Director of Statistical Practice, Roundtable Analytics

Much of his work involves research supported by the National Science Foundation to create solutions that turn data resources into better decisions, with particular focus on improving operational efficiency in emergency departments. He earned his BS in Mathematics from LaGrange College, MS in Mathematics and Statistics and PhD in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Environmental Science from the University of Florida.

Jason serves on the leadership team for the National Collaborative for Bio-Preparedness, and is a principal at Burke Advisory Group. He previously held strategy and management roles at SAS, Microsoft, Quintiles, and GlaxoSmithKline. He is a cognitive neuroscientist by training, holding degrees from Virginia Tech and the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Tara leads the overall operations of GRAChIE, including strategy, sales, business case development, and managing contracts. She previously served as Executive Director of the East Georgia Health Cooperative, a seven-member rural health network.

Bruce has been with Beacon Partners for ten years. In his current role, he advises clients on the key strategic questions facing healthcare providers including ACO development, payment reform, Meaningful Use, and business intelligence.  He holds CPHMS certification is a HIMSS Fellow. Prior to joining Beacon, he was the CIO of two health systems in Michigan.

He has 20 years of experience as an Enterprise Healthcare Sales Executive, working with large healthcare providers, payers and IT vendors to provide enterprise solutions in the areas of predictive analytics, revenue cycle, resource management and human capital management. Mike has previously held senior account executive positions with McKesson, SAS and Per-Se Technologies.

Anne works in the Communicable Disease Branch, which oversees the epidemiological integrity of both NC EDSS and NC DETECT. She received her MS in Biology from UNC Charlotte and her PhD in Epidemiology from UNC Chapel Hill.

Her professional background includes serving as Statistician at the Institute for Customer Relationship Management with a focus on business analytics and market research. She also served as Staff Researcher at the Psychometrics Center in Kuala Lumpur for three years. Her research interests include business intelligence, analytics, human-computer interactions and healthcare IT. She earned her Master’s in Applied Statistics from the University of Malaya.

James Murphy

Jim assisted in disaster recovery planning and security documentation across the many divisions of Allscripts.  Prior to this, he worked with the NC  DHHS as an Information Security Architect during the development and support of the NCTracks Medicaid claims system.  He has an MS in Information Science from the UNC School of Information and Library Science, and has achieved the GSEC, CISSP, ISSMP, CISA, and CISM certifications.

David has spent the last 15 years at SAS working on statistical software development of products that cover the broad spectrum of clinical trial design, pharmacovigilance and drug safety, healthcare claims and episode-of-care analytics, and health outcomes statistical analysis. He obtained his PhD degree in Demography and MSc. in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Chandrika is responsible for overseeing statewide cancer registry core business operations and administration, including implementing electronic reporting of cancer from eligible providers to meet the Meaningful Use requirements. She received her MS and PhD in Consumer Economics from Ohio State University.

Nigar is currently involved in the implementation of Meaningful Use electronic cancer reporting for the NC Central Cancer Registry. She has a master’s degree in Public Administration from NC State University with a focus on Public Policy and Non Profits, and an MBA from Madras University in India.
